Kashyap Kashmir Sabha (KKS) is a non-profit organization registered under Societies Act 1860 under Gurgaon (Haryana) jurisdiction. Incepted in 1994 by a handful of community members with a vision to serve Kashmiri community dislocated after mass exodus and to retain its socio-cultural heritage and meet the basic requirements of the community with an emphasis on education and health.
KKS is involved in working for the cause of community since its inception through various socio-cultural events such as to promote the relevance of Kashmiri culture in modern times.
Core Objectives of the KKS
- To create credibility and improve public recognition among the community to lead our cause
- To create sufficient wealth to support the cause of benevolence through activities and events
- To empower youth to contribute such as to uplift social, cultural and religious values.
Future Goals- 2021-2024
- To Create a library/ central resource pool of books, thoughts, write-ups created by Kashmiri writers, thinkers, intellectuals etc
- To Conduct seminars and generate new ideas for the way forward for the Kashmiri Community in general
- To Create a forum, where Kashmiri Culture & Language can be strengthened through debates and discussions etc.
- To see initiation of temple construction at our temple land, at Palam Vihar.
- Revive modalities for getting 80 G for KKS. Gurgaon
- To update & increase membership of Gurgaon
- Revive Neel Nag digitally, as early as possible.
- Integration of our Gurgaon kashmiri community at large.
